Todd Gurley Kicks Off 2014 Season With 100-Yard Kickoff Return
Heading into this season, Georgia Bulldogs’ Todd Gurley was being touted as the best running back in college football. Based on his early success, it appears that might just be the case.
In Georgia’s opening game against the Clemson Tigers, Gurley took a first-half kickoff back 100 yards for six points, further adding to the value that has NFL scouts drooling over the potential first-round pick.
Gurley might be most well-known for his work on offense, but the added versatility of being able to return kicks will only help his case when it comes time to hand out the Heisman Trophy this season.
