Ole Miss takes on Memphis this week, and expected "cupcake" win aside, this week could have a few interesting aspects. Here are the top-five bold predictions for this week's game between the Rebels and the Tigers.

Expect this one to be over early. Bo Wallace has had the Ole Miss offense running on all cylinders through the first few weeks of the season. With what should be an insurmountable lead going into the second half, look for the backups to get some meaningful reps heading into the Alabama game.

Ole Miss has scored 35, 41 and 56 points over the last three games, respectively. Even though they were able to hang close with UCLA, Memphis’ defense is heavily outmatched against the outstanding athletes on the Ole Miss offense, so don’t expect the scoring spree to stop this week.

With Bo Wallace likely coming out of the game early, look for the running backs to get much-needed carries going into next week’s matchup against Alabama. Having a loaded offensive line anchored by Laremy Tunsil doesn’t hurt either.

2. Memphis’ Running Game Will Impress

Doroland Dorceus and Brandon Hayes combined to spur an offense that almost toppled UCLA. Don’t expect the same level of success against a tough Ole Miss front seven, but the two-headed monster that is the Memphis rushing attack will be the focal point of an otherwise lackluster offense.

The nearly 300-pound behemoth of a backup quarterback has become a wrinkle in the Rebels’ offense, and this might just be the week to test his effectiveness prior to facing the Crimson Tide. When the Rebs get close to the goal line, a source on campus tells me to expect the big man to get a touch or two to see if he can score when the rubber hits the road in preparation for the game against Alabama.
