With all due respect to the Red River Rivalry, Week 7's slate of games were as hyped as any weekend gets. Most of the usual suspects we've been accustomed to seeing were replaced by a newer group of programs looking to make history of their own. The SEC was smack-dab in the middle of this, with two mega matchups that could have major implications towards the playoffs. Without further to do, here are the five biggest winners of the weekend.

Coming off an embarrassing loss at home to the Arizona Wildcats, the Oregon Ducks rebounded this week, as they defeated the UCLA Bruins in Pasadena. The Ducks’ high-octane offense was in full swing, as Marcus Mariota and company made Bruins’ defense look pedestrian. The final score of 42-30 wasn’t indicative of how lopsided this matchup was. The Ducks proved to be the class of the Pac 12 and should vault back into the AP Top 10 rankings.

4. Georgia Bulldogs 5-1 (3-1 SEC) – Week 7 Result: 34-0 Victory at Missouri Tigers

The Georgia Bulldogs received a shock to their system just two days prior to their matchup with the Missouri Tigers, as running back and Heisman candidate Todd Gurley was suspended. The battle of the top two teams in the SEC East proved to be a laugher, however, as Mark Richt’s group demolished the Tigers in a game that saw the Bulldogs out-gain the Tigers by 232 yards, have 15 more first downs and force five turnovers to zero of their own.

With 11 minutes left, it appeared as if the TCU Horned Frogs were going to be the last remaining undefeated team within the Big 12. Fate intervened, as Baylor erased a 21-point deficit and won on a time-expiring field goal behind quarterback Bryce Petty, who threw for 510 yards and six TDs to lead the nation's top scoring offense. In one of the most-wild comebacks in history, the Bears stared death straight in the face and lived to tell.

After rocking the house in Oxford last week, the Rebels’ defense pounded the Aggies in College Station this weekend. In their first true road test of the season, the Rebels passed with flying colors as their defense forced three turnovers, which included a 75-yard interception return by Cody Prewitt and a fumble recovery -- both touchdowns. The Rebels improved to 6-0 behind quarterback Bo Wallace, as the team continues to take big steps forward.

The premier matchup of the weekend featured newly crowned SEC powers Auburn and Mississippi State battling for supremacy of the West Division. Using a 21-0 blitz in the first quarter, the Bulldogs took control of the game early and rushed for four touchdowns and 223 yards overall. This marked the third straight game that the Bulldogs defeated a top 10 ranked team and the first time it’s happened in 30 years.
