No. 10 TCU Horned Frogs advanced to an impressive 6-1 record with an 82-27 win over their longtime rival Texas Tech. However, the most baffling news isn’t the victory at all – it’s the final score.

This Saturday, TCU displayed their fast-paced offense which was obviously an understatement. The results of their latest offensive approach was absolutely mind blowing, especially if you’re a Red Raider.

Who would have guessed that we would ever see 82 points on the scoreboard in a football game? Whether collegiate or professional – it is absolutely unheard of. Did the Texas Tech Red Raiders forget that this was supposed to be a rival game? Apparently TCU didn’t.

College football fans haven’t witnessed such a monstrosity on the scoreboard since the lopsided match-up in 2012 when Oklahoma State pummeled Savannah State 84-0.

The Red Raiders will surely hear the chirping of crickets on their ride back home. Will Kliff Kingsbury take the bus back to Lubbock with the team, or will he take a rental so he can swing by a local pub to drown his sorrows? Surely, that sounds excessive, but so does that final score.

Who didn’t have a great game on TCU’s squad? Seems like it was an early Christmas for everyone. The Horned Frogs QB Trevone Boykin broke a school-record with seven touchdown passes. Normally, it takes two to three games for most quarterbacks to rack up such numbers. Did TCU play that good or did Texas Tech perform that poorly? The bludging was so brutal, the halftime football commentators refused to televise the recap video.
