The Clemson Tigers have lost just one ACC game this season, but that may just be enough to knock them out of the conference title race against Florida State. After starting the year 2-2, the Wake Forest Demon Deacons have since lost four straight conference bouts and they have a tough enough schedule to likely push their winless streak to eight games by season’s end.

Clemson lost star freshman quarterback Deshaun Watson four weeks ago due to a hand injury, dropping starting QB duties into senior, and former starter, Cole Stoudt‘s arms. The senior gunslinger hasn’t been completely ineffective in Watson’s absence, passing for 556 yards, a touchdown and three interceptions. Watson, however, has been the better quarterback this season, passing for 1,176 yards, 12 touchdowns and two interceptions while rushing for 147 yards and three more scores. Fellow freshman stud Artavis Scott leads all receivers with 45 catches to go along with 502 yards and three touchdowns while sophomore Mike Williams is the overall leading receiver with 35 receptions for 743 yards and four scores. The run game hasn’t been very impressive, though, as it ranks just 93rd in the nation.

Quite the opposite of Clemson, Wake Forest has one of the worst offenses in college football, ranking 108th in passing yards, dead-last in rushing yards and 125th in points per game. Freshman quarterback John Wolford has gotten off to a rough start in his college career, passing for 1,377 yards and seven touchdowns, but his 13 interceptions have been costly to his growth as a young QB. E.J. Scott has been his favorite target, connecting 35 times for 373 yards and four touchdowns while Cam Serigne is close behind with 340 yards and two touchdowns on a team-high 36 receptions. As a team, Wake Forest has just 276 rush yards and three scores while averaging an embarrassing 1.1 yards per carry.

Defensively, the Demon Deacons have only this unit to hang their hats on this season as the offense is one of the worst in the country. Wake Forest ranks 54th in points allowed per game as well as 40th in total yards allowed weekly. Clemson has one of the best defenses out there, ranking 10th in the country in points allowed per game as well as second in total yards allowed per contest.

Clemson will travel to Wake Forest to take on the Demon Deacons at 7:30 p.m. EST on Thursday, Nov. 6. The game will be broadcasted on ESPN.

PREDICTION: Clemson 27, Wake Forest 10
