Week 11 of the College Football is in the books, and if we learned anything, it's that any team can be beaten on any given Saturday. Several top-10 teams kissed their College Football Playoff chances goodbye with lackluster performances. Here are the 10 biggest losers from Week 11.

A once-proud program that was rich with Hall-of-Fame talent, the SMU Mustangs continued their forgettable season with a loss against 1-7 Tulsa 38-28. The Mustangs scored the most points in a game this season, but still remain winless. Whoever takes the reins next week will have their work cut out for them with this program.

After a heartbreaking loss at home to TCU, the West Virginia Mountaineers played uninspired football yesterday, getting shellacked by the Texas Longhorns in Austin 33-16. The Mountaineers gave up 227 yards rushing and turned the ball over twice.

After taking a 7-0 lead over Minnesota early in the first quarter, the Iowa Hawkeyes imploded, giving up 51 unanswered points in a 51-14 thrashing. The Iowa defense, which has been normally good against the run, was gashed for 289 yards, and the Hawkeyes' offense managed only 205 total yards and turned the ball over three times.

Since losing leading receiver Dres Anderson two weeks ago against USC, the Utah Utes have lost two in a row. This time a fourth-quarter collapse, was the difference in their 51-27 loss to Oregon. The Utes constantly hurt themselves by turning over the ball four times, including a goal-line fumble which resulted in a Oregon touchdown. The defense gave up 508 total yards.

Playing without leading receiver Sterling Shepard, the Oklahoma Sooners were dominated by Baylor for the second consecutive year, this time 48-14. After leading 14-3 in the second quarter, the Sooners gave up 45 unanswered points and QB Trevor Knight was carted off in the fourth quarter after being sandwiched between two Baylor defenders.

The LSU Tigers had a 13-10 fourth quarter lead against Alabama, but the defense could not hold it and the Tigers lost to the hated Crimson Tide in overtime 20-13. Despite dominating the time of possession (38: 16 to 21:44), the Tigers could not do much through the air, throwing for just 76 yards all night. The Tigers have now lost three games to SEC West opponents.

In a matchup between top 10 Big 12 opponents, the Kansas State Wildcats were no match for TCU in Fort Worth, losing 41-20. The Wildcats were dominated in the trenches, rushing for just 34 yards and giving up 334 on the ground. The Wildcats no longer have sole possession of first place as they are currently in a three-team tie with TCU and Baylor.

Everett Golson nearly led the Fighting Irish back from a 34-3 deficit, but he also lost the game for Notre Dame in a 55-31 defeat to Arizona State. Golson turned the ball over five times, and the Fighting Irish gave up the most points in a game since the 1980s. Two of Golson's interceptions were returned for touchdowns, and the usually stout Notre Dame front seven gave up 188 yards on the ground.

Last season, Auburn got all the break en route to a National Championship game appearance. This year, the Tigers' string of good luck ran out as the Tigers lost at home to Texas A&M 41-38. Auburn trailed 35-17 at halftime, but rallied to make it a 41-38 game. With under two minutes remaining, the Tigers fumbled twice, once on a QB-center exchange, and squandered any chance they had at the College Football Playoff.

In the game of the year for the Big 10, the Michigan State Spartans were dominated by Ohio State, losing 49-37 at home. The Spartans' defense, which is nationally acclaimed, could do nothing to stop J.T. Barrett as he accounted for five of Ohio State's seven touchdowns, and the Buckeyes gashed Sparty for 268 yards on the ground.
