Week 11 of the College Football season is now completed, and yesterday, we saw several teams play their way into the College Football Playoff discussion while others gained some much needed pride. Here were the 10 biggest winners from week 11 of the College Football season.

Since Dave Brandon's resignation after the Penn State win, the Michigan Wolverines have now won three straight games, and although yesterday's 10-9 win over Northwestern was ugly, Michigan found a way to get the job done. Brady Hoke probably won't keep his job past this season, but it's nice to see that his kids are still playing hard for their embattled head coach.

Charlie Strong needed a signature win this season to prove that his methods are working, and he got it with a 33-16 beatdown of West Virginia. Even though the Mountaineers are free-falling after their loss to TCU, the Longhorns jumped out to a 24-3 lead against West Virginia and never looked back. The passing game is still a work in progress with Tyrone Swoopes, but the Longhorns were able to run for 227 yards.

After a lackluster performance against Louisiana Monroe, Kyle Allen bounced back big time as the Texas A&M Aggies came into Jordan-Hare Stadium and upset Auburn 41-38. Allen threw for four touchdowns, and the Aggie defense was able to collect two Auburn fumbles late to preserve the win.

Florida State hasn't looked good for most of the season, but unlike most of their competitors, they have found ways to win games. In a 34-20 win over Virginia, the Seminoles turned the ball over three times, including two interceptions by Jameis Winston, but the defense forced three turnovers of their own and held the Cavaliers to 34 yards rushing. Florida State also got some breathing room after No. 3 Auburn lost to Texas A&M.

Behind J.T. Barrett's five touchdowns, the Ohio State Buckeyes came into East Lansing and dominated the Michigan State Spartans 49-37. Facing a nationally acclaimed defense, the Buckeyes scored 49 points, gained 568 total yards, and 268 yards on the ground. With the win, Ohio State now controls its playoff destiny within the Big Ten.

The Arizona State proved they are legitimate contenders yesterday after a 55-31 win over Notre Dame. The Sun Devils jumped out to a 34-3 halftime lead, giving up 28 straight points, but they scored the last 21 to secure the win. ASU's defense forced five turnovers, including four interceptions off Everett Golson, and the rushing attack gained 188 yards against the Fighting Irish.

Oregon clinched the Pac-12 North yesterday by defeating Utah 51-27 after scoring 24 points in the fourth quarter. Marcus Mariota accounted for 353 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns against a tough Utes defense. Oregon's lone test until the Pac-12 Championship game is the regular season finale against Oregon State, and the Ducks control their playoff destiny.

3. Alabama

Facing a tough LSU team in Baton Rouge at night, the Alabama Crimson Tide rallied from a 13-10 deficit in the fourth quarter to force overtime, winning in the extra session 20-13. Blake Sims only completed 20-of-45 passes, but didn't turn the ball over and threw for two scores. With games left against Mississippi State and Auburn, the Crimson Tide can either play their way in or out of the College Football Playoff.

2. Baylor

Baylor never defeated Oklahoma in Norman the past 12 times, but yesterday, the Bears emphatically broke the curse, dominating the Sooners 48-14. After trailing 14-3 in the second quarter, Baylor scored 45 unanswered points, and dominated the Sooners in all facets of the game. Baylor's defense held Oklahoma to just 148 yards passing, and gained 544 total yards of offense.

Trevone Boykin scored four touchdowns, three on the ground, and TCU dominated Kansas State in the trenches, winning 41-20. The Horned Frogs ran for 334 yards while allowing just 34, and forced what is now a three-way tie atop the Big 12 Standings. TCU's schedule gets easier down the stretch, but their playoff hopes depend on another Baylor loss within the Big 12.
