We all knew there was going to be a shake-up in the top 25 with so many ranked teams set to play one another this weekend. Although these top 25 foes playing one another helped out some when it comes to the playoff picture, there is still plenty that needs to be decided. Regardless, teams like Arizona State and TCU will celebrate the night away -- both captured huge wins this weekend.

There are not many teams in college football that can say they have won eight games in a row. Well, at least this season, that is. The Colorado State Rams have been red-hot ever since their loss to Boise State in the second game of the season. Oh yeah, they are one of those teams that can say they have won eight games in a row.

Wisconsin has managed to win four in a row, but the big one will be against the Nebraska Cornhuskers next. Iowa and Minnesota after that contest won't be any easier, though.

23. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (8-2)

Georgia Tech has a solid record, but it could add two losses to that said solid record very quickly. The Yellow Jackets will close out the season by taking on Clemson and Georgia.

22. Oklahoma Sooners (6-3)

Record wise, it has been a very disappointing season for the Oklahoma Sooners. The team will have to settle with not making the playoff this time around, but there's always next year.

21. LSU Tigers (7-3)

Well, you can't win them all. The LSU Tigers may have been at home, but taking down Alabama, no matter where the game is being played, is never an easy thing to do.

Things could get really good or really bad for Arizona very quickly. The Wildcats will finish off the season by taking on Washington, Utah and Arizona State.

The Marshall Thundering Herd are still undefeated. Not many teams can say that. In fact, only two other teams can say that by my count.

18. Duke Blue Devils (8-1)

Duke may not be getting a whole lot of love this year, but it only has one loss on the season and could end up in the ACC title game.

17. Michigan State Spartans (7-2)

There are probably plenty of people out there who think Michigan State should be ranked higher, but it lost to Ohio State at home this weekend. Give the Buckeyes all the credit in the world, but the Spartans should not be allowing 49 points in their own house.

16. Georgia Bulldogs (7-2)

Georgia is probably the best team in the SEC East, but there is a good chance that it doesn't even make the SEC title game. Regardless, the Bulldogs cannot worry about that, as they take on Auburn next.

15. Clemson Tigers (7-2)

Clemson still needs Florida State to lose, but it can still make a solid bowl game if it wins out.

14. UCLA Bruins (8-2)

The UCLA Bruins have been red-hot ever since their two-game losing streak in the middle of the season. Making the CFP likely isn't going to happen, but beating USC and Stanford to close out the season wouldn't be a bad consolation prize.

13. Kansas State Wildcats (7-2)

Kansas State dropped its first game in the Big 12 this weekend and it wasn't pretty. The team cannot worry about that loss, though, as it takes on West Virginia, Kansas and Baylor to close out the season.

12. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (7-2)

And just like that, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish's chances of making the College Football Playoff went up in flames. Notre Dame had to win out to make it, and it didn't.

11. Nebraska Cornhuskers (8-1)

Nebraska has a solid record and very well could be the best team in the Big 10, but it has three tough games to close out the regular season. If it can manage to win those games, it will be rewarded with a spot in the Big 10 title game.

10. Ole Miss Rebels (8-2)

The Ole Miss Rebels finally got a break this weekend, but that will not be the case in the last two games of the season, where they take on Arkansas and Mississippi State.

9. Auburn Tigers (7-2)

Well, that loss to Texas A&M really hurt. After all, the Auburn Tigers still have to play Georgia and Alabama. It will be very interesting to see what this team's record is when it is all said and done.

Welcome to the College Football Playoff conversation, Ohio State. The Buckeyes got a statement win over Michigan State this weekend, and can now make a great case for a playoff spot.

The Arizona State Sun Devils have now beaten two ranked opponents in a row. They also just got done scoring 55 points on Notre Dame.

6. Baylor Bears (8-1)

Baylor has now beaten Oklahoma and TCU. The Bears' only loss came against West Virginia on the road. Not too shabby, Baylor. Not too shabby.

Speaking of TCU, the Horned Frogs and Baylor are basically interchangeable in the rankings. TCU has beaten teams like Oklahoma and Kansas State, but its one loss came against the Bears on the road.

4. Oregon Ducks (9-1)

Oregon may be the best team in the Pac-12, but Arizona State is not too far behind. Hopefully we will get to see those teams playing against one another in the conference championship.

3. Alabama Crimson Tide (8-1)

Taking down the LSU Tigers at Death Valley is no easy task. The Alabama Crimson Tide managed to do just that, though. Unfortunately, they still have to play Mississippi State and Auburn.

2. Florida State Seminoles (9-0)

Florida State has three games left in the regular season. It cannot lose focus -- a spot in the playoff is at the end of the tunnel.

Mississippi State deserves a spot in the playoff, but its remaining opponents are really going to make it earn that spot. With that said, showdowns with Alabama and Ole Miss should help end the season with a bang.
