Heading into the 2014 campaign, the Arizona Wildcats were nothing more than an afterthought in the Pac-12 title race. Now, Arizona is in the forefront and still in contention for the crown. The Washington Huskies, on the other hand, are under a new direction this season and after a 4-0 start, they have dropped four of six. The Huskies are looking to ruin the Wildcats’ season with a win.

Arizona has one of the most dynamic and electric offenses in the nation this year, ranking 13th in passing yards and 46th in rushing yards per game. Freshman quarterback Anu Solomon has been one of the best young QBs in the country, passing for 2,816 yards and 25 touchdowns while also rushing for 304 yards. Solomon’s favorite target has been transfer Cayleb Jones, catching 53 passes for 734 yards and eight touchdowns while Austin Hill is the next closest target, catching 33 passes for 459 yards and four touchdowns. Yet another freshman, Nick Wilson, leads the rush attack with 763 yards and seven touchdowns while veteran Terris Jones-Grigsby is the next back in line, rushing for 474 yards and three scores.

Washington’s offense hasn’t been nearly as impressive, ranking 110th in passing yards and 50th in rushing yards per game this year. Although Cyler Miles hasn’t passed for a big chunk of yards this season, he has still been somewhat impressive, completing 66 percent of his passes for 1,404 yards and 12 touchdowns with just two picks. Miles has developed two favorite targets in John Ross and Jaydon Mickens; Ross has 371 yards and four touchdowns on 17 catches while Mickens has 39 receptions for 331 yards and two scores. Junior Shaq Thompson has made the most of his carries this year, racking up 456 yards and two touchdowns on 7.2 yards per carry while freshman Lavon Coleman is right behind him with 438 yards and a score.

Defensively, the Huskies haven’t exactly lit the world on fire this year. Washington ranks 67th in points allowed per game as well as a lowly 79th in total yards allowed per game. Arizona has been even less impressive than the Huskies, ranking just 98th in total defense and 65th in scoring defense this season, despite owning a 7-2 record.

Washington will travel to Arizona to take on the Wildcats at 3:30 p.m. EST on Saturday, Nov. 15. The game will be broadcasted on FOX.

PREDICTION: Washington 31, Arizona 37
