The Florida State Seminoles may be the only ACC team that is getting national attention this year, but that doesn’t mean the matchup between the Clemson Tigers and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets won’t be a great watch.

The Tigers have only lost two games in 2014 and have also won six games in a row. The Yellow Jackets have also only lost two games, but they are only on a three-game winning streak.

Both teams still have a slim chance of making the ACC title game. They will, of course, need other teams to lose in the conference, but another loss for either team would spell doom towards that title game goal.

If Clemson can stop the run, it is going to win this game. Georgia Tech is third in the nation in rushing yards per game (335.6), and will certainly be relying on its running game to lead it to victory.

Regardless, give me the Tigers’ 12th-ranked defense in this ball game. That’s right, they are No. 12 in the nation when it comes to opposing points per game (18.4).

This Clemson team may not be in the running for a national championship, but it has certainly put together a great season, and has a chance of going 10-2 before bowl season. That would be pretty impressive when you think about the stars the team lost over the offseason.

This is one of those games that could really go either way, but the Tigers are red-hot and will continue their winning ways against the Yellow Jackets.

Prediction: Clemson 30, Georgia Tech 21
