The Ohio State Buckeyes are ranked No. 6 in the country and are on the outside looking into the College Football Playoff picture, but will have ample opportunity to sneak in with three games remaining, including the Big Ten Championship. The Buckeyes have two back-to-back wins over ranked opponents in the Michigan State Spartans and Minnesota Golden Gophers, and are in prime position to finish the rest of the season undefeated.

Ohio State’s next opponents, the Indiana Hoosiers, sit at the bottom of the Big Ten. Indiana hasn’t won a conference game all season, and its only notable win comes in the form of a shocking victory over the Missouri Tigers. Indiana will need a miracle to pull this one off, but, with nothing to lose and no hope of a bowl bid, this is its biggest game of the season.

The big worry for Ohio State would be an injury to J.T. Barrett, who has been fantastic all season long. He likes to run the ball, but in a game that the Buckeyes should easily win, it would be unwise for him to expose himself to any big hits. Ohio State is still definitely in the hunt for a trip to the College Football Playoff, so any injury would be absolutely devastating.

Expect the Buckeyes to dominate. The win over Missouri was due to the Tigers’ poor run defense, which is a weakness that Ohio State does not possess. Michael Thomas and Devin Smith should be able to put up around 100 yards each and a couple of touchdowns between them in a blowout.

Prediction: Ohio State 42, Indiana 13
