Arizona proved to be a team for all conditions after dominating Utah in Salt Lake City, 42-10. In less than ideal conditions, the Wildcats gained over 500 yards of total offense against an underrated Utah defense. With this win, the Wildcats will definitely move up in the rankings, perhaps even in the top-10.

Wisconsin now has control of their Big Ten destiny after a 26-24 win over Iowa. Melvin Gordon eclipsed the 2,000-yard plateau against the Hawkeyes, and all the Badgers need is to win at home next week against Minnesota to win the Big Ten West.

Kansas State kept their Big 12 and College Football Playoff hopes alive with a 26-20 win at West Virginia. With two games remaining, including a road game against Baylor, the Wildcats still have a lot to play.

For the third straight year, the UCLA Bruins defeated the USC Trojans, this time 38-20. UCLA is now the best team is Los Angeles and the Bruins now control their own destiny. With a win over Stanford next week, the Bruins will clinch a spot in the Pac-12 Championship Game against Oregon. If UCLA also beats Oregon, they could sneak their way into the top four.

Facing a very sneaky Boston College team, Florida State continued their undefeated streak with a 20-17 win. Despite being gashed on the ground (240 yards), the Seminoles made enough big plays to get the win.
