Michigan and Ohio state hate each other. That hatred leads to some exciting games regardless of the teams' records coming in. Here are five bold predictions for "The Game" on Saturday.

5. Devin Gardner Will Throw For Over 250 Yards

This season has been a big struggle for Gardner. The fifth-year senior has only surpassed 200 yards passing once, and even in that game he only threw for 200 yards. Gardner also has just eight touchdowns through the air to 14 interceptions. With this possibly being his final game at Michigan, I expect him to go out swinging. He threw for 451 yards last year in this game.

Ohio State has scored over 30 points every game this season except for one. That was their lone loss to Virginia Tech. On the season they are averaging 44.3 points per game and have been on a roll lately. Michigan’s defense has been strong all season, however, and will come to play on Saturday.

Michigan is fighting for their postseason lives in this game. They need a win to become bowl eligible, and I expect them to keep things close, especially early on. They don’t want their season to end with a loss to their biggest rival.

Once again, this is it for Michigan. They know they need a win to keep their season alive. Historically these games have been close, even when one team was having a down year. There have even been some big upsets along the way, and last year was almost one of them.

In the end, Ohio State is just too good for Michigan this year. The rivalry and hatred between the two teams will keep the game close, but Michigan isn’t a good team this season and OSU is on a hot streak. This game will catapult OSU to the Big Ten title game and Michigan to an offseason full of uncertainty.
