Saturday will undoubtedly be the biggest game in Baylor football history. The Bears' season and reputation are on the line here, looking for that coveted final playoff spot. But that's not all. They're hosting College Gameday for the first time ever, looking for back-to-back Big 12 championships and to continue their home win streak in new McLane Stadium. It's going to be a huge game, and it won't disappoint in excitement.

It’s a shame Coleman had not even cracked the Biletnikoff semi-finalist list. He’s scored in eight straight games, is chasing 1000 yards, and didn’t even play the first three games. The Baylor sophomore’s streak leads the nation, and he’s going against a great defense that will like to shut him down. When all seems lost, he pulls something down anyway.

What drives the Bears' nation-leading offense in scoring and yardage is their passing game, but their running backs take on quite the workload. I wouldn’t be surprised to see multiple RBs find the end zone, but as Baylor reaches the red zone more than it has before this week, it'll look towards its lead running back to keep KSU on its toes.

If coach Bill Snyder has been showing tape to his Wildcats, they know full well the way you get to Baylor is by taking long shots. Baylor’s secondary is absolutely horrendous at defending the deep ball. In all of Baylor’s closer games, it was defeated down field: see Texas Tech, TCU and Texas Tech. KSU possesses one of the nation’s top receiving threats in Tyler Lockett, and Jake Waters at QB will be looking his way all day.

Coach Briles said after Baylor’s escape from Texas Tech that he’d rather fight a man with a house and kids than someone living out of their car. Well, KSU definitely fits the former and Baylor knows that. It has had high-scoring affairs against other top-ranked programs like TCU and Oklahoma this season. KSU’s defense is arguably less effective than TCU’s, and Baylor won that matchup 61-58. Eye test, anyone?

This has less to do with the game as it does the games not involving the Bears. Even if Baylor wins in grand fashion as I expect, it needs Florida State and Ohio State to lose their title games for a great chance thanks to TCU being ranked three spots ahead of it. Ultimately, I think that’s what will happen and Baylor will finds itself in the Sugar Bowl.
