Bo Pelini Awesomely Ripped Nebraska A.D. In Final Meeting With Players

Bo Pelini found himself in hot water last season when audio of him ripping Nebraska fans leaked. He didn’t lose his job over the leaked audio, but it may have been one of the nails in his Nebraska head coach coffin.

Fast forward to over a year later and Pelini’s final meeting with his players after being let go, and it appears we have some more classic quotes from ol’ Bolini via Omaha.com.

This is how Pelini really feels about his former boss and Nebraska A.D., Shawn Eichorst (broke down into the best quotes):

“I didn’t really have any relationship with the A.D. The guy, you guys saw him (Sunday), the guy is a total p****. I mean, he is. He’s a total c***.”

“A guy like (Eichorst), who has no integrity, he doesn’t even understand what a core value is. He hasn’t understood it from the day he got here. I saw it when I first met with the guy… To have core values means you have to be about something, you have to represent something that is important to you. He’s a f****** lawyer who makes policies. That’s all he’s done since he’s been here: hire people and make policies to cover his own a**.”

“I said to (assistant coach Rick Kaczenski) at one point, I said, ‘man, this is killing me.’ I said, ‘I don’t want to die doing this job.’ I meant it. I was like, ‘I don’t want to have a heart attack doing this job.'”

For anyone who’s ever had a boss that truly sucked, some of these quotes had to be enjoyable. Sure, they were a little vulgar and over the top — but what do you expect from a guy who had just been fired after winning nine games?

One thing is for sure, Bo Pelini will never be affiliated with the University of Nebraska ever again.
