The Texas A&M Aggies started off the 2014 college football season red-hot, while the West Virginia Mountaineers looked like a legit Big 12 title contender at one point. Both teams have had some ups and down, but they will battle it out in the Liberty Bowl regardless.

Time for some bold predictions.

West Virginia is averaging 33.2 points per game. Texas A&M is averaging 34.4 PPG. In no way does either team have an elite defense. Needless to say, we are bound to see some touchdowns in this one, but I am going a step further by saying the first team to 50 points wins.

4. Clint Trickett Throws 4 TDs

Trickett hasn't thrown a touchdown pass since Nov. 1. Still, he gives the Mountaineers the best chance to win, and overall had a good season. Expect the senior to give it his all in this one. Perhaps we will see four touchdown passes from him.

If this is going to be a high-scoring affair, there are definitely going to be a lot of yards. If both teams come ready to play -- on the offensive end, that is -- 1,000+ yards very well could happen in this bowl.

2. Kyle Allen Bests Trickett With 5 TD Passes

Kyle Allen could still use some reps, but he has had a pretty solid season regardless. For what it's worth, Allen threw four TDs against Auburn, but he will one-up that total by throwing five against West Virginia.

Although I am sure teams are only worried about their own team, the fans certainly look at conferences as a whole and how they do during bowl season. With that in mind, and if Allen actually has a big game, the Aggies will win this one for the SEC.
