Remember that one time when the Florida State Seminoles were on a 29-game winning streak? Well, the Oregon Ducks apparently didn't care about that one, as they absolutely destroyed them in the Rose Bowl. With that said, there is no doubt that FSU was one of the biggest disappointments this college football bowl season.

Colorado State was having a very successful season, but then it all came crashing down in a hurry near the end. Not only did the Rams lose head coach Jim McElwain to Florida, but they also got crushed against Utah in the Las Vegas Bowl (45-10).

Not many people expected Charlie Strong to just come in and lead Texas to a national championship -- well, at least not in Year 1. Needless to say, the Longhorns weren't the best team in college football this season (6-7 record). Finishing the season with back-to-back losses, which included a blowout in a bowl game (31-7), certainly didn't help the cause.

Baylor had a 20-point lead going into the fourth quarter against Michigan State. You would think that would have been a big enough cushion for the Bears. Well, it wasn't, and Baylor lost by one point.

Mississippi State was the best team in college football at one point this season. Then, the last four games happened, where the Bulldogs dropped three of four. One of those losses was against Georgia Tech in a New Year's Six bowl.

Oklahoma lost by the score of 40-6 in its bowl game with Clemson. That is unacceptable for the Sooners, who entered the season by being ranked as high as No. 3. If you are looking for the most disappointing team on the season, look no further than Oklahoma.

This one is just very unfortunate. Before West Virginia's bowl game against Texas A&M, QB Clint Trickett decided to retire. Concussions are a very, very evil thing.

Give TCU all the credit in the world, but Bo Wallace was not on his A, B or C game against the Horned Frogs in the Peach Bowl. Ole Miss could only manage three points in the contest. As for Wallace, he threw 109 yards, zero TDs and three INTs.

Florida State losing is not all that surprising -- Oregon was ranked higher entering the game -- but the way in which FSU lost still may have Seminoles fans in shock. Final Score: Florida State 20, Oregon 59.

Alabama was the No. 1 team in the nation coming in, and fans expect the Crimson Tide to make the title game on a yearly basis. Ohio State pulled off the unthinkable -- it beat a Nick Saban-coached team.

No SEC team in the title game is disappointing enough. Adding to that, the conference finished with a 7-5 record during bowl season. Not to mention, big boys like Ole Miss, Auburn, Alabama, Mississippi State and LSU lost.
