The Fighting Irish currently have the 11th-ranked recruiting class in the nation and enjoyed a very successful 2015 Signing Day. They landed several dynamic players who could make an immediate impact next season. Let’s take a look at the best offensive prospects who signed with Notre Dame on Wednesday.

All rankings references are based on information from Rivals.com.

5. WR Miles Boykin

Boykin is one of four wide receivers who signed with Notre Dame on Wednesday, and was a consensus four-star prospect. He was the 156th-ranked player in this year’s class and the 17th-ranked wide receiver. The Illinois-native brings a combination of skills to South Bend, including power and physicality. He led his team to a Class 7A State Championship and was named to the Chicago Tribune All-State first team. Boykin also drew interest from several prominent programs, such as Ohio State, Oregon and Florida.

4. WR Equanimeous St. Brown

The California product was the 144th-ranked overall player in this year’s class and 15th-ranked wide receiver. Even though he battled through an injury-riddled season last year, the consensus four-star recruit was named an Under Armour All-American. The 6-foot-5 wideout has blazing speed to go along with his size, as he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.44, according to 247sports.com. Brown received over 20 scholarship offers, including from USC, LSU and Miami (FL).

3. TE Aliz'e Jones

The fourth-ranked tight end in the nation will likely continue the Fighting Irish's history of phenomenal players at the position. From Las Vegas, Nev., Jones brings an impressive list of accolades to Notre Dame. He was a U.S. Army All-American, selected to the first-team USA Today All-USA team and named a first-team MaxPreps All-American. The 6-foot-5, 220-pound beast was also heavily considering UCLA.

2. RB Dexter Williams

After visiting both Louisville and Miami (FL), Williams ultimately decided to take his unique talents to South Bend. He was the 12th-ranked running back nationally and 120th-ranked player overall. Due to the team’s lack of talented depth at the position, landing Williams was likely the biggest signing of the day for Notre Dame. He’s a very shifty back who ran the 40-yard dash in 4.51 seconds, according to 247sports.com

1. QB Brandon Wimbush

The best offensive player who signed with Notre Dame on Wednesday was clearly the dual-threat quarterback. Wimbush was ranked 60th overall and the fourth-ranked signal caller in the nation. He was named an Under Armour All-American, a First-team MaxPreps All-American and the All-USA New Jersey offensive player of the year, among other accolades. He’s good enough to compete for playing time as a freshman and will bring exceptional versatility to South Bend.
