According to Yahoo! Sports, the Michigan Wolverines football program has already had to self-report four secondary NCAA violations. If you’re keeping score and pretty decent at math, you’ll see that Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh has averaged one NCAA violation per month, as Harbaugh has been with Michigan for just four pages of the calendar.

Via Graham Watson of Yahoo! Sports, Michigan’s most egregious violation was committed by safeties coach Mike Zordich, who spoke about the recruitment of graduate transfer Wayne Lyons with reporters before Lyons had joined the Michigan program. You can find the rest of Watson’s piece here.

Harbaugh will have to undergo compliance training, but don’t expect the commander in khakis to quit pushing the envelope.
