With Matt Wells in charge, the Utah State Aggies are always a threat to pull an upset each and every week. Despite not having Chuckie Keeton, the Aggies have enough firepower to give the Broncos a stiff test.

Air Force is always a tough test for any team. Their triple-option attack confuses lots of defenses, and the Broncos won't completely stop the Falcons. Fortunately for the Broncos, their offense is good enough to outscore other teams. Boise State lost to Air Force last season 28-14.

Even without Taysom Hill, the Cougars are a tough team to matchup against, especially in Provo. BYU has Christian Stewart, who gained valuable starting experience last year in place of Hill.

As UCLA can attest from last season, going into Virginia and beating the Cavaliers is very difficult to do. The Bruins were nearly upset by the Cavaliers, and even though Virginia isn't an elite ACC team, they have plenty of talented athletes on both sides of the ball.

This will be the first game between the Broncos and former head coach Chris Petersen since he left for Washington. A lot will be on the line, and the Broncos will try to prove that they can be even better without Petersen.
