The TCU Horned Frogs should be set at the quarterback position for the foreseeable future.

Now that the Kenny Hill transfer is official, Hill can learn behind one of the Heisman front-runners in the upcoming season. Said Heisman front-runner is, of course, Trevone Boykin.

Before we get into some Kenny Football talk, let’s chat Boykin. Boykin is coming off a season in which he racked up 3,901 passing yards and 33 touchdowns. He also had 707 rushing yards and eight more scores on the ground. As for the Horned Frogs, they missed out on the College Football Playoff. They did, however, tear apart the Ole Miss Rebels in the Peach Bowl, 42-3.

The main focus in the upcoming season will be TCU making a case for the CFP. To do so, the Horned Frogs may have to run wild and not lose a single game (they lost one contest in 2014).

Regardless, it is hard not to get excited about TCU football.

After all, Boykin has another year of eligibility left and Hill has shown some serious promise in the past. He was in the Heisman convo early on in the 2014 season and he will now get to learn behind one of the best QBs in the nation.

In time, Hill will hopefully be making plays and showing off his skills in a TCU uniform, but the upcoming season should be all about Boykin.
