Missouri is looking for a three-peat in 2015 when it comes to being division champs. But also for the third year in a row one opponent will try to stand in their way. And ladies and gentlemen, that is the Georgia Bulldogs

Missouri has made a mark for themselves since coming into the SEC in 2012. Given, they are in the SEC East, which has been known to be the forgotten middle child of NCAA Conferences. But the Tigers have come on strong against their West opponents, going 3-2.

After getting destroyed by the Georgia Bulldogs 34-0, Missouri struck gold when Florida defeated Georgia, putting the Tigers in the No. 1 spot just in time for the SEC Championship. It can easily be said though that Georgia will not go down so easily this year. The Bulldogs are looking for blood.

Even with the growing strength of the East, Missouri and Georgia are still the top teams heading into the 2015 season. The only division matchup that will even cause a stir of trouble for both teams will be Tennessee. However, it looks like Tennessee is still a couple of years away from doing any real damage in the East.

If the matchup is going to be anything like last year, Georgia will have no problem taking it home and claiming their division. This is of course assuming that there are no unexpected upsets like last year. The Bulldogs have only gotten stronger in the offseason, and there is always the return of Nick Chubb. Missouri on the other hand hasn’t really shown proof of any offseason strengthening. Nevertheless the Tigers will still be a powerful force in the East.

The Missouri Tigers and the Georgia Bulldogs face off in Athens, GA on Saturday, October 17.
