Vols Football — The Tennessee Volunteers enter the 2015 college football season with high expectations, but they are still working towards being an elite team. It’s hard not to get caught up in the hype and pick the Vols to go all the way to the College Football Playoff, but I’m a bit more realistic than that. Here are five bold predictions for the Vols headed into 2015.

Cam Sutton Tennessee Vols — Snubbed from so many preseason honors, Sutton is one of the best defensive backs in the nation. I expect him to be a top three finalist for the Jim Thorpe award. He’s that good.

Jalen Hurd — Everyone is talking about Alvin Kamara and his arrival in Tennessee, but I’m not convinced he’s better than Jalen Hurd. Hurd runs like an NFL running back and deserves more carries than Kamara. It’s a good problem to have if you’re Butch Jones.
