If you are a Rutgers Scarlet Knights fan, this is not going to get you pumped up for the 2015 college football season.

Just remember this: The season hasn’t even started yet.

Rutgers is coming off a season in which it finished with an 8-5 record, which is not bad at all in the Big Ten. That said, things will not get any easier with the Ohio State Buckeyes being the best team in the sport once again. Plus, squads like the Wisconsin Badgers and Michigan State Spartans will hold their own — to say the least.

Despite everything that has been going down, head coach Kyle Flood will take the field in the first contest.

Rutgers will take on the Norfolk State Spartans on Sept. 5.
