TV Schedule: Saturday, Sept. 12, 3:30 p.m. ET, CBS

Stadium: Vanderbilt Stadium

Line: Georgia (-21)

This might not be the most entertaining game on paper, but it is still a battle between two SEC teams, which has been deemed the best conference in college football a time or two.

The Georgia Bulldogs, of course, enter this contest as the heavy favorites. That tends to be the case when an unranked squad takes on a team that is ranked in the top 10 … and has a Nick Chubb. Speaking of which, Chubb is going to contend for the Heisman all season long.

While Georgia is coming off a 51-point performance, the Vanderbilt Commodores are coming off a loss against the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. No offense to Western Kentucky, but it isn’t quite on the Bulldogs’ level.

The key to Vanderbilt pulling off this upset: Johnny McCrary has to have a big game. Against the Hilltoppers, he threw two footballs to the other team (aka he had two interceptions). He also had 217 passing yards and 58 more yards on the ground, though.

McCrary and the rest of the Vanderbilt offense stepping up or not, Chubb and the Bulldogs are going to be very tough to stop.

The Commodores will have the pleasure of playing at home, but not even their fans will be able to give them a big enough boost to lift them to a victory.

Side note: Georgia beat Vandy by the score of 44-17 last season.

PREDICTION: Bulldogs 35, Commodores 14
