TV Schedule: Saturday, Sept. 26, 7:00 p.m. ET, ESPNU

Stadium: Vaught-Hemingway Stadium

Line: Ole Miss (-24.5)

When a team beats the mighty Alabama Crimson Tide — and is undefeated — said team bounces to the top of the rankings … well, close to the top. That’s exactly what the Ole Miss Rebels accomplished. They beat Alabama (on the road of all places) and then jumped up to No. 3 in the country.

Meanwhile, the Vanderbilt Commodores already have two losses on the season and are about to be handed loss No. 3 — well, unless you believe in miracles.

It took no time for QB Chad Kelly to become a star. After all, he went from unnoticed to Heisman contender, and it only took three weeks for that grand transformation to occur.

Last year, the Rebels knocked off the Commodores by the score of 41-3. This year, although it might be a little better for Vandy, fans should still expect a blowout that favors Ole Miss.

If I’m a Vanderbilt fan, I’m hoping that Ole Miss has a hangover from its big win last week, and is also looking forward to the battle with the Florida Gators.

If I’m an Ole Miss fan, I’m thinking there is no chance that the Commodores pull off the upset, even if the Rebels enter this game with little motivation.

PREDICTION: Commodores 10, Rebels 42
