In a matchup of top 12 teams, Notre Dame and Clemson will square off in prime-time on ABC from Death Valley. The Irish have battled injuries and continue to hang tough, while Clemson has seemingly gone through the motions as only 0-3 Louisville was their main challenge thus far. Here are five bold predictions for the big weekend showdown.

Gallman has had a pretty great season so far, as he has rushed for 310 yards, three scores and an average of 5.8 yards per carry. Meanwhile, Notre Dame so far has given up 137 rushing yards a game so far with an average of 4.08 yards per carry. Clemson will try to establish the line and take pressure off of Deshaun Watson by using Gallman early and often, and he'll find success.

Prosise has been absolutely spectacular this season for the Irish. He has 600 yards rushing, six touchdowns and is averaging 8.11 yards per rush. The senior has been tremendous boost for ND as they battle through the loss of a starting QB. They will continue to ride him on Saturday, and like he has all season, he will not disappoint.

Watson has been pedestrian so far this season with his seven touchdowns and three interceptions, but he will shine on Saturday night. Totaling just 641 yards passing this season, he will find success in this game thanks to the balance the offense will have with Gallman, Watson's season high rushing total is 54 yards, and he will exceed that in this game as Clemson will open up the playbook to use his dual-threat ability.

Notre Dame is 21st nationally with 41 points per game this season, while Clemson has been 35th at 36.7 PPG. Both defenses will struggle to contain the offensive attacks as the offenses should be running up and down the field. DeShone Kizer will continue to fill in nicely for ND and go toe to toe with Watson. It should be a fun shootout.

The game will be close throughout and will wind up being one of the best games all season. Brian Kelly and Dabo Swinney will be locked in a coaching duel all game, as one tries to find an edge and mismatch all night. Using the home crowd, Clemson will put together a clutch last drive to set up a short field goal for the win. It's tough to rely on college kickers these days, but Greg Huegel will send the crowd home happy.
