TV Schedule: Saturday, Oct. 3, 7:30 p.m. ET, FOX

Stadium: Rose Bowl

Line: UCLA (-14)

Entering the 2015 college football season, one might say that this contest had Pac-12 title contenders written all over it. That still might be the case (the Arizona State Sun Devils only have one loss in conference play), but one of these teams is coming off of a monster victory. The other team isn’t coming off of a … well, monster victory.

The UCLA Bruins showed zero mercy against the Arizona Wildcats last weekend by dropping 56 points on them. And then there is Arizona State, who had 42 points scored on it (in losing fashion, of course).

Both of these teams were expected to, at the very least, contend for a spot in the College Football Playoff early on, but only the Bruins have held up their end of the deal.

UCLA is still very much alive when it comes to making the playoff and Arizona State is down and out with two losses in just four games.

With that said, I give you three players who will have eyes glued to the TV set: QB Mike Bercovici (ASU), QB Josh Rosen (UCLA) and RB Paul Perkins (UCLA). Believe it or not, two out of three of those players still have a shot at the ultimate individual award (the Heisman, that is). Yeah, Perkins and Rosen still have a shot, even if it’s an outside shot.

Here’s why the Bruins will move to 5-0 this weekend: Arizona State has no momentum, and UCLA has a ton. Perkins is a monster in the running department. The Bruins get this game at home.

PREDICTION: Sun Devils 28, Bruins 45
