Stadium: Ohio Stadium

Ladies and gentlemen, the Ohio State Buckeyes (aka the defending national champs) are looking rather beatable early on in the 2015 college football season. This is a team that was supposed to be legendarily unstoppable thanks to the quarterback race that went on this summer, and the fact that the Buckeyes returned a ton of championship talent.

Now, QB is surprisingly not their No. 1 weapon.

The Buckeyes will take on the Maryland Terrapins next regardless.

Maryland has now lost two games in a row … both in blowout fashion.

Here’s the deal: If the Michigan Wolverines can beat the Terps by the score of 28-0, then Urban Meyer‘s team should have no problem winning this contest by a — you guessed it — ton of points.

The Buckeyes get this game at home, making a blowout seem more and more likely.

At some point in 2015, you would imagine QB Cardale Jones would look elite again. Until that happens, RB Ezekiel Elliott is going to continue to run for a boatload of yards. Just to secure the victory last week, Elliott had to rack up 274 rushing yards and three scores — and that’s why he is a Heisman contender, folks.

It remains to be seen when Ohio State will flip the switch, but no one should expect it to lose at home, especially when it is taking on the 2-3 Terps.

PREDICTION: Terrapins 7, Buckeyes 52
