TV Schedule: Saturday, October 10, 8:00 p.m., ET, ABC

Stadium: Doak Campbell Stadium, Tallahassee, Florida

Line: Florida State (-9)

The Florida State-Miami rivalrydates back to 1963. Saturday will be the 60th meeting between the two prestigious programs. Both programs have had their ups and downs. Miami leads he series 31-28, with Florida State winning the last five.

After winning a National Championship in 2013, the Seminoles reestablished themselves as a perennial title contender. The Hurricanes, meanwhile, are on the decline. The once-feared dynasty has not won double-digit games since 2003, and new coach Al Golden is on the hot seat again.

Miami gave up 167 yards on the ground last week against Cincinnati. No disrespect to the Bearcats, but they haven’t been very impressive. They also don’t have Dalvin Cook. Florida State’s super sophomore should look to run the ball down Miami’s throats on Saturday. He was hurt last week after just two carries, and FSU had to hold on against lowly Wake Forest.

Notre Dame transfer Everett Golson is doing his job, and isn’t making mistakes. He also is not lighting up the scoreboard either. FSU is 76th in the nation in passing yards per game and tied for 88th in points per game. That will have to improve for them going forward. For the ‘Canes to pull off the upset, QB Brad Kaaya must have an incredible game. That’s not likely to happen, as Florida State is fifth in the country against the pass this year.

This one will be a blowout in Tallahassee, and Al Golden’s seat is about to get even hotter.

Prediction: Florida State 31, Miami 13
