On Saturday, Nick Chubb suffered a gruesome left leg injury that put him out of the game against the Tennessee Volunteers. This injury is hardly minor and will most likely end Nick Chubb’s season. Now the Georgia Bulldogs have a tough obstacle to climb over for their team.
Back from running errands. Finally saw the Nick Chubb play. Words can’t explain … Prayers up, @NickChubb21 #UGA #GoDawgs

This is not the first time the Bulldogs have had their main running back have a season-ending injury too soon. Just last year, heisman hopeful Todd Gurley went out with a season-ending injury at the beginning of the season. At first Georgia thought it was a curse, but it turned into a blessing quickly when Nick Chubb took the field for the rest of the season.
Up until today, Chubb had 13 straight games with over 100 yards rushing. That streak is over now, and the Bulldogs have to make tough decisions for the next many weeks.
Behind Chubb are three main running backs, Sony Michel, Keith Marshall and Brendan Douglas. The odds of one of these guys stepping up like Chubb did last year is almost astronomical. Because let’s face it, none of these backs have ever compared to Nick Chubb in the backfield.
And with Georgia’s passing game in the deep end, it doesn’t make things look any brighter for the Bulldogs. Georgia’s season is on the line with the loss of their best player, so it will be interesting to see how they bounce back.
