TV Schedule: Saturday, Oct. 17, 12:00 p.m. ET, ABC/ESPN2

Stadium: Ryan Field

Line: Iowa (-2.5)

Here’s a top 25 showdown that’s not getting much love, which is something we don’t say every week.

Whether if fans want to believe it or not, the Iowa Hawkeyes are serious Big Ten title contenders. If they can pull off the victory this weekend, they might even be more than that (College Football Playoff contenders, anyone?). Iowa’s best win on the year came against the Wisconsin Badgers, who were raked in the top 25 and were also playing at home.

Then there is the Northwestern Wildcats, who are coming off of their first loss of 2015 — and it wasn’t pretty. It still remains to be seen if Northwestern is a wee bit overrated (lost to the Michigan Wolverines by the score of 38-0), or if Michigan is really that good.

Regardless, two top 25ers will battle it out this weekend, and the winner will have all the bragging rights in the Big Ten West — well, sort of, because it is wide open.

Side note: Iowa holds a one-game lead at the moment.

A couple of predictions before the prediction: Michigan is a top 10 team in college football, and will make a run at the playoff. Therefore, Northwestern isn’t that overrated. Iowa is going to win the Big Ten West, and it all starts in this showdown.

PREDICTION: Hawkeyes 17, Wildcats 14
