Line: Baylor (-37)

If there was fantasy football at the collegiate level, people would be drooling over what we’ve seen over the past few weeks. The Baylor Bears are averaging 64 points per game. Their lowest offensive output of the season has been 56 points. You can take Seth Russell, pat him on the helmet for an excellent game, sit him down for the remainder of the contest, throw in Jarrett Stidham and watch him throw five touchdowns of his own. That’s five touchdowns on 23 completions by the way. I don’t care who they’re playing; that’s impressive.

In addition to the 27 touchdowns Russell has thrown, they’ve added another 20 on the ground. Eight of those belong to Shock Linwood, who’s already run for 803 yards on the season. Four running backs on the roster have broken at least one run of 45 yards or more. Watching Baylor play on offense is like watching a video game and they’re hitting all of the buttons on the controller.

The Iowa State Cyclones, on the other hand, have three quarterbacks on the roster who have thrown a pass; and between the three of them, they’ve got nine touchdowns on the season. Defensively, the Cyclones rank 111th in the nation. They’ve given up 25 touchdowns and 462 yards per game. This game figures to get ugly early, and there’s no reason to believe that it won’t. This one kicks off at noon eastern and the majority of people who tune in will be doing so to see one side.

Baylor wins easily and wins going away.

Prediction: Baylor 66, Iowa State 27
