TV Schedule: Saturday, Oct. 24, 3:30 p.m. ET, ABC/ESPN2

Stadium: Memorial Stadium (Norman, OK)

Line: Oklahoma (-14)

Who’s ready to see the scoreboard going crazy when the Texas Tech Red Raiders and Oklahoma Sooners take the field? This one is bound to be a shootout despite the fact that one team enters this contest ranked (Oklahoma) and the other unranked (Texas Tech).

Although Texas Tech is basically playing the spoiler role right now (already has two losses in a very talented Big 12), Oklahoma still has a shot at, well, basically everything. One-loss teams make the College Football Playoff (isn’t that right, Alabama) and one-loss teams can certainly win the Big 12 title.

Looking ahead, the Sooners still have to take on the Baylor Bears, TCU Horned Frogs and Oklahoma State Cowboys, so things could get really ugly or really good for Oklahoma in no time.

Regardless of the future beyond this weekend, the Red Raiders are a very pesky team. For all it’s worth, Texas Tech almost beat TCU. In that game, the Red Raiders dropped 52 points, and I am predicting them to have a similar performance on the offensive side of the ball in this one.

Baker Mayfield & Co. will hold up their end of the deal by going off for a ton of points as well. 100-point contest? Sounds like something that is going to happen in the very near future to me.

PREDICTION: Red Raiders 49, Sooners 56
