TV Schedule: Saturday, Oct. 31, 3:30 p.m. ET, ABC/ESPN2

Stadium: Kinnick Stadium

Line: Iowa (-17)

The Maryland Terrapins‘ rather disappointing season is going to get even more disappointing after this weekend. The Terps enter Week 9 with a 2-5 overall record and 0-3 Big Ten record. Not to mention, they are riding a nasty four-game losing streak into this weekend.

Then there is the Iowa Hawkeyes, who have been one of the biggest surprises of 2015. The Hawkeyes are undefeated, ranked in the top 10 and could still win the conference title. They are also coming off of a monster road win against the Northwestern Wildcats (40-10). Yeah, the Hawkeyes have been road warriors this season.

Iowa rocks one of the best defenses in the country, which tends to be a trait of a national title contender. Maryland, of course, has been the exact opposite of stingy on the defensive side of the ball.

It would be surprising if Iowa didn’t win this game by at least 10 points. Since college football has been all about the upset life this season, watch the Hawkeyes go down on Halloween weekend. For instance, last weekend was supposed to be rather mellow, and then two undefeated teams were undefeated no more. Yeah, good old college football.

If Maryland has any chance of winning this game, it won’t throw in the direction of Desmond King, and will hope that a miracle happens in every other department.

PREDICTION: Terrapins 7, Hawkeyes 41
