TV Schedule: Saturday, Oct. 31, 3:30 p.m. ET, ESPN

Stadium: Jones AT&T Stadium

Line: Oklahoma State (-3)

The Oklahoma State Cowboys basically have everything on the line every single time they take the field. Since they are 7-0 and reside in the Big 12, they are College Football Playoff contenders. However, they must take the game-by-game approach, because they are about to embark on a very difficult journey.

After their Week 9 matchup against the Texas Tech Red Raiders — which is not a gimme — the Cowboys will have to play the TCU Horned Frogs. Of course, matchups against the Baylor Bears and Oklahoma Sooners are just around the corner as well. Translation: Oklahoma State is either going to be a top team in college football in no time, or get booted out of the playoff picture.

Texas Tech brings a 5-3 record to the table. It also has one of the best offenses in the country, or that is at least what its 46 points per game would suggest. With such a lethal offense, one might wonder how those three losses came about. Simple. The Red Raiders are allowing 40.1 points per game.

Basically, it is offense, offense and nothing but offense with them.

The Cowboys are only giving up 18.9 points per game, so something has to give in this one. Look for a relatively high-scoring affair with Oklahoma State coming out on top.

PREDICTION: Cowboys 35, Red Raiders 33
