It is now the stretch run for college football, which means many questions will finally be answered in a few weeks. You know, like which teams will make the College Football Playoff and who will take home the Heisman hardware.

Luckily for the TCU Horned Frogs, they are in contention for the playoff and they have a player who could win the ultimate individual award.

In terms of that ultimate individual award (aka the Heisman Trophy), QB Trevone Boykin is right behind LSU‘s Leonard Fournette.

Fournette and the Tigers had the week off, which means Boykin had the opportunity to catch up in the race.

Boykin’s Week 9 stats: 388 passing yards, 84 rushing yards and four total TDs.

Boykin’s overall stats for 2015: 2,927 passing yards, 524 rushing yards and 34 total TDs.

Things are about to get very interesting as a result of the Tigers taking on the Alabama Crimson Tide in Week 10. Plus, TCU’s schedule is about to get brutal.

As for the Heisman race, Boykin took advantage during a quiet week in this sport by leading his team to victory … in style.

Entering Week 10, Fournette still leads the pack, but that could change in a hurry if his team goes down against Alabama, and if Boykin continues to put up crazy stats.

Stay tuned, folks. Stay tuned.
