TV Schedule: Thursday, Nov. 5, 7:30 p.m. ET, FS1

Stadium: Bill Snyder Family Stadium

Line: Baylor (-17.5)

This is the week that we finally get to see what Baylor Bears QB Jarrett Stidham has. Of course, Stidham has made some throws in 2015, as he has 331 passing yards and six passing TDs.

The biggest question entering this game: Can Baylor compete for a spot in the College Football Playoff without Seth Russell?

We are going to find out in a hurry. After this contest with the Kansas State Wildcats, Baylor gets the Oklahoma Sooners, Oklahoma State Cowboys and TCU Horned Frogs … in back-to-back-to-back games.

Then there is Kansas State. This is a team that started off the season with three straight wins. Yeah, everything was looking up for the Wildcats … and then the next four games happened. In those next four games, K-State recorded four losses. One must remember that Kansas State did have to play the top dogs in the conference during that stretch (Oklahoma State, TCU and Oklahoma).

Trying to look at the glass half full, things should get better after the battle with Baylor. Basically, the wins should start coming in once again because the schedule simply get easier. By then, we will of course know what the Wildcats are — non-contenders in the Big 12.

Although the Bears might have some growing pains to start this game, and especially when it takes on the conference’s elite, WR Corey Coleman will shine (as usual) and Stidham will have himself a day.

PREDICTION: Bears 48, Wildcats 21
