TV Schedule: Saturday, Nov. 7, 7:00 p.m. ET, ESPNU

Stadium: Memorial Stadium (Norman, OK)

Line: Oklahoma (-25.5)

Consider this the calm before a very wicked storm — well, for the Oklahoma Sooners, that is. After this contest, Oklahoma will finish off the regular season by taking on the Baylor Bears, TCU Horned Frogs and Oklahoma State Cowboys. You almost want to feel bad for the Sooners until you remember that all of the top dogs in the Big 12 have brutal schedules to end the year.

Oklahoma is way down at No. 15 in the College Football Playoff rankings. Of course, if it can manage to finish the season with just one loss, which it endured against the Texas Longhorns, it would be very hard for the committee to deny it a spot in the playoff.

Stranger things have happened, and Baylor and TCU know all about that one from last season.

Iowa State will do its best to trap the Sooners this week, and it is also bringing some momentum to the table. The Cyclones knocked off the same Longhorns team that took down Oklahoma. In that victory, Iowa State beat Texas 24-0.

Baker Mayfield & Co. have way too much on the line to go down in Week 10, though. They don’t call them trap games for nothing, but something tells me the Sooners’ lethal offense will be going off this weekend.

After this week, who knows what will happen in the Big 12.

PREDICTION: Cyclones 17, Sooners 49
