A few quick notes before getting to the Heisman Trophy rankings for Week 12: (1) The Heisman is won/lost in the month of November. (2) Former top contenders like Leonard Fournette and Trevone Boykin are falling in a hurry. (3) The Heisman race is completely wide open.

10. Luke Falk, QB, Washington State

Luke Falk is leading the country in passing yards and 7-3 Washington State is coming off of a victory against the UCLA Bruins. He likely won't win the Heisman, but his resume is very shiny regardless.

9. Trevone Boykin, QB, TCU

Trevone Boykin at No. 9? Yeah, it has gotten that bad. However, if Boykin is able to go this weekend, that could change.

Boykin and TCU will finish the regular season up against Oklahoma and Baylor. If the Horned Frogs win both games and if Boykin plays a major role, he could still win the trophy.

8. Dalvin Cook, RB, Florida State

The Seminoles aren't going to be playing in the playoff this year, but they could have another Heisman winner in Dalvin Cook. With the playoff spotlight no longer on Florida State, Cook needs to finish very, very strong, though.

7. Corey Coleman, WR, Baylor

Corey Coleman's Baylor Bears went down against Oklahoma and Coleman certainly didn't have his best outing in the showdown, but the WR has 20 receiving TDs in 2015. That is huge.

6. Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU

And just like that, the LSU Tigers are no longer playoff contenders, and Leonard Fournette's Heisman hopes are being wasted away.

Still, Fournette has been the best player in college football for most of the year, and a big finish down the stretch will put him back on top of these rankings.

Yet another playoff contender that went down this past weekend. Stanford's CFP hopes being a thing of the past or not, Christian McCaffrey remains a top player in this sport. He rushed for another 147 yards against the Oregon Ducks.

4. Baker Mayfield, QB, Oklahoma

Thanks to a major win against Baylor in Week 11, Baker Mayfield shot up the rankings. He will continue to climb said rankings if the Sooners continue to win. Keep in mind, Oklahoma takes on TCU and Oklahoma State to close out the regular season.

3. Derrick Henry, RB, Alabama

In the month of November, Derrick Henry has already racked up 414 rushing yards and five rushing TDs. Two things to note when checking out those stats: (1) Henry has only played two games in November. (2) Both games were played against ranked opponents.

2. Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State

Ezekiel Elliott remains the most consistent man in college football. He has now rushed for 100+ yards in 10 straight games in 2015. It certainly doesn't hurt his cause that the Buckeyes could end up winning another national championship.

1. Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson

If Deshaun Watson's Clemson Tigers finish the season undefeated, good luck to the other Heisman contenders.

The only thing that Watson has going against him is the Tigers' easy schedule down the stretch.
