TV Schedule: Saturday, Nov. 21, 3:30 p.m. ET, ESPN

Stadium: Autzen Stadium

Line: Oregon (-4.5)

Entering the 2015 college football season, this game was likely circled on many people’s calendars (metaphorically and literally, that is).

Unfortunately, the USC Trojans and Oregon Ducks have done some disappointing and they are not even close to being College Football Playoff contenders, which was expected from both.

Both teams enter this contest with identical overall records (7-3) and Pac-12 records (5-2). Both squads also enter this battle with some momentum. The Trojans are riding a four-game winning streak into this one, while the Ducks are on their own four-game winning streak as well.

Although both teams have fallen off of the playoff map, the Pac-12 championship game isn’t out of the question just yet. Yeah, it’s been one of those seasons in college football, and especially one of those seasons in this conference.

While most folks will be focused in on other big showdowns in Week 12 (you know, ones that actually have playoff implications), Cody Kessler and Vernon Adams Jr. will take the field. That’s a whole lot of talent right there.

Oregon might get the home-field advantage, but I like Kessler’s odds in this one. He might not be a Heisman contender this late in the season, but he is still a rather solid QB. Meanwhile, Adams Jr. has been doing some serious work lately.

If you are looking for a rather high-scoring affair, you will hopefully find what you are looking for in this one.

PREDICTION: Trojans 42, Ducks 35
