TV Schedule: Friday, Nov. 27, 3:30 p.m. ET, ABC

Stadium: Memorial Stadium (Lincoln, NE)

Line: Iowa (-2)

The Iowa Hawkeyes will partake in the Big 10 title game … even if they somehow find a way to lose against the Nebraska Cornhuskers this weekend. However, a loss would likely mean that Iowa wouldn’t punch its ticket to the College Football Playoff, so don’t expect the undefeated Hawkeyes to look past this game.

Meanwhile, you have Nebraska, who is riding a bit of a hot streak into this contest. It all started with a victory over the Michigan State Spartans. Then, the Cornhuskers turned their one-game winning streak into a two-game winning streak by knocking off the Rutgers Scarlet Knights away from home.

Nebraska riding a bit of a hot streak or not, it is just 5-6 on the season and 3-4 in Big 10 play. While this team has absolutely no chance to make the Big 10 title game, it can still become bowl eligible with a victory.

The Hawkeyes might not have the most lethal offense in the country and they certainly don’t have a player in the running for the Heisman, but they continue to do the only thing that matters — win. They continue to do this while still somehow flying under the radar — well, until recently, that is.

With a win against Nebraska this weekend and then another victory in the Big 10 championship, folks from me to you will be forced to take notice — because this team will end up making the playoff.

PREDICTION: Hawkeyes 21, Cornhuskers 10
