By Jason Fletcher

The LSU Tigers are reportedly ready to let go of head coach Les Miles. It would be a shocking decision if it comes to fruition, as Miles has the highest winning percentage of any head coach in LSU history, winning 77.5 percent of his games. If Miles hits the head coach free agent market, he won’t have a shortage of suitors as he’s not only a brilliant X’s and O’s guy, but also a great recruiter. Miami needs a head coach that is going to be able to return the program to prominence after such a down era. With Miles in tow, it would take no time for the Hurricanes to become favorites in the ACC.

Texas would be one of the most sought-after jobs in the country if the boosters decide to send Charlie Strong packing. With Miles' recruiting ties in Texas and Louisiana, the Longhorns would have no shortage of players to turn the program around.

To me, Miles seems like a SEC guy through and through, making the two open SEC jobs his most likely destination. Missouri is already strong on the defensive side of the ball, which would likely be enticing for Miles and he would be able to recruit the type of talent to help his offensive coordinator fix the offense.
