The in-state rivalry between BYU and Utah was cancelled at the end of the 2013 season. Utah has won each of the last four meetings, but the Utes will be without star running back DeVontae Booker. The Cougars, meanwhile, are without longtime coach Bronco Mendenhall, who accepted the Virginia coaching vacancy.

Alabama and Michigan State recently met in a Bowl Game, but it wasn't pretty for Sparty. In the 2010 Capital One Bowl, Alabama humiliated the Spartans 49-7. Mark Dantonio will certainly look for revenge, and the Spartans will look to finally prove they're a legitimate National Championship contender. Meanwhile, Alabama's Derrick Henry could enter this game as the Heisman Trophy winner.

This game is a rematch of the 2014 Russell Athletic Bowl. In that game, Clemson annihilated the Sooners 40-6, forcing five turnovers and allowing just 275 yards of total offense. The Sooners, however, are a different team with Baker Mayfield under center instead of Trevor Knight. He and DeShaun Watson will put up numbers, and both defenses can dominate up front.

If this game were played last year, TCU and Oregon would be facing one another in the College Football Playoff. Both teams were expected to get to this year's College Football Playoff, but injuries ravaged both teams. Trevone Boykin and Vernon Adams Jr. are two of the most dynamic quarterbacks in college today, but the loss of Josh Doctson on the outside will hurt the Horned Frogs in this game.

1. Fiesta Bowl: Ohio State vs. Notre Dame

The best bowl game this season is between College Football powerhouses Notre Dame and Ohio State. Both teams have rich football traditions and last met in the 2006 Fiesta Bowl, which was a 34-20 Ohio State win. The biggest matchup to watch will be between Ohio State RB Ezekiel Elliot and Notre Dame LB Jaylon Smith, both of whom are projected to be first-round picks in the 2016 NFL Draft.
