Kyle Allen Makes Smart Decision to Transfer From Texas A&M

Rather than spend another spring and summer battling Kyler Murray for the starting quarterback job, Kyle Allen has chosen to transfer from Texas A&M. Allen started nine games in 2015 as he went 6-3 and threw for 2,210 yards, 17 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Coming out of high school, Allen was a five-star prospect and was ranked as the best quarterback in the 2014 recruiting class out of Scottsdale, Arizona. He showed well as a true freshman in 2014 as he threw for 1,322 yards, 16 touchdowns and seven interceptions in only four starts.
