TV Schedule: Tuesday, Dec. 29, 4:30 p.m. ET, ESPN

Stadium: Florida Citrus Bowl

Line: Baylor (-3)

If QB Seth Russell didn’t go down to a season-ending injury, the Baylor Bears might be playing in the College Football Playoff. With Russell on the field, the Bears were literally unstoppable on the offensive side of the ball. Unfortunately, Baylor ended up dropping three games down the stretch after winning eight in a row.

Next up, the Bears will take on the North Carolina Tar Heels during bowl season.

The Tar Heels surprised a lot of people this year by winning 11 games in a row. As a result, they ended up taking on the Clemson Tigers in the ACC championship game … but came up just short. Keep in mind, Clemson is undefeated and ranked No. 1 in college football.

The Tar Heels bring a pretty lethal offense to the table (averaging 40.9 points per game). The same thing can be said about Baylor, as it is putting up 48.3 PPG. Once again, the offense is not the same without Russell.

Here are some of North Carolina’s biggest wins in 2015: Pittsburgh, Miami, Duke.

And here are some of Baylor’s biggest wins: Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, West Virginia.

Although there will be plenty of talent all over the field for both teams (they are both ranked in the top 25, after all), here are two big names to keep an eye on: North Carolina QB Marquise Williams and Baylor WR Corey Coleman.

And now, let the festivities begin.

PREDICTION: Tar Heels 30, Bears 37
