Every year there seems to be a team from the SEC competing for a national championship, and that’s all due to the success the conference has on National Signing Day. According to Rivals.com rankings, Alabama won its sixth straight recruiting title yesterday which is beyond comprehension. While the Crimson Tide had the best class, let’s take a look at the five recruits from the SEC set to make the biggest impact.

5. ATH Mecole Hardman Jr., Georgia

The Bulldogs have already mentioned that Hardman will have a shot to play on both sides of the ball. His game-breaking speed will be huge for the offense while his coverage abilities will help the team's defense. It will be interesting to see where he spends most of his time in Athens.

4. OT Gregory Little, Ole Miss

The Rebels are losing Laremy Tunsil to the NFL Draft which leaves a huge hole at left tackle. It remains to be seen if Little is able to claim that job as a freshman, but he should be given every opportunity as the top tackle in this class.

3. QB Jacob Eason, Georgia

Despite hailing from the state of Washington, Eason has had Georgia pegged as his school of choice for a while, but he reopened his recruitment when Mark Richt left for Miami. Kirby Smart came in and did a wonderful job getting Eason to stay with the Bulldogs.

2. LB Ben Davis, Alabama

It was widely expected that Davis would end up choosing the Crimson Tide on Wednesday as his dad was a star for the school. That being said, it's still a huge get for Nick Saban, who will be losing top tackler Reggie Ragland to the NFL.

1. QB Shea Patterson, Ole Miss

The Rebels got huge news when Chad Kelly announced he would be returning for his senior season. That will give the top quarterback recruit in the country a year to sit and learn which will better prepare Patterson for success in the future. The Rebels could be serious threats in the SEC for the foreseeable future.
