College football fans don’t have an incredible amount of things to do for fun currently with the season having ended a few months ago. Sure, the NFL Combine is interesting, but it’s just not the same.
Thus, this time of year is usually passed by talking an overwhelming amount of trash to rivals online. An abundance of this takes place on the popular social-networking platform Reddit, which can get incredibly heated at times.
‘Reddit College Football’ recently ran a 5,000-vote poll in efforts to find out every state’s most hated program. The results are interesting, but far from a surprise.
Nationally, the Ohio State Buckeyes (unsurprisingly) received the most votes (11.4 percent). The Alabama Crimson Tide and Michigan Wolverines were tied for second (9.2 percent), followed by the Texas Longhorns at third with 6.3 percent.
The following chart shows national results, as well as those from the most notable college football states.
Here’s the link to the original poll if you care to dig deeper. I’m sure there are plenty of rivals of yours online patiently waiting to receive a roasting of epic proportions.
