Penn State RB Saquon Barkley Bench Presses 225 for Ridiculous 30 Reps

By Anthony Blake

The buzz surrounding Penn State running back Saquon Barkley and the Heisman Trophy has already been amped up by his power clean display in the weight room earlier this summer.

Now, the 5-foot-11, 220-pound juggernaut is hoisting five pounds over his body weight (225) an insane 30 times on the bench press.

Some guys are just freaks in the weight room, and it seems safe to say that Barkley has that side of the equation covered in the pre-draft evaluation process.

But with nearly 1,500 yards rushing and over 400 receiving yards a year ago, he has the talent on the field to make it at the NFL level as well.

Get the Heisman hype prepared.
