USC QB Sam Darnold Completes TD Pass to 10-Year-Old Battling Leukemia

There’s Heisman hype and NFL praise being heaped upon USC quarterback Sam Darnold by the truckload, yet he still found time to do something truly impactful at a recent practice.

The Trojans welcomed 10-year-old leukemia patient Taylor Hammond to the field and gave him the experience of a lifetime.

Sports seem so important to us at many moments in time, but the truth is the only time they matter much in the grand scheme of things is when they provide comfort and hope like this.

Great job by Darnold and the Trojans allowing Hammond to have a terrific time at their practice.
